MATH121 requires a rigorous pre-calculus background.
Students who have not studied calculus may choose to begin in MATH119 or MATH121.
Students who have previously studied calculus should choose among MATH121, MATH122, MATH221, MATH222, and MATH223. The department recommends MATH122 for an AP score of 4 or better on the AB Calculus exam and one of the 200-level courses for an AP score of 4 or better on the BC Calculus exam.
Students may not get credit for MATH121 after completing MATH119 and MATH120. A student may enroll in at most one of MATH119, MATH120 and
