Topics in 19th-Century Painting: Thomas Moran, Thomas Eakins, and Mary Cassatt ARHA 376 Fall 2010 not offered Crosslisting: AMST 376 This seminar will examine the art and career of three Philadelphia artists whose careers took very different trajectories. Class discussions during the first part of the semester will include the close reading of selected works in response to assigned readings. During the second part of the semester, students will write and present reports on selected single works by these artists and their principal American associates.
