Major Readings: Wesleyan RJ Julia Bookstore
Readings relevant to topics explored in each design project will be assigned. In addition, a sequence of theoretical texts on architecture will be introduced in order to familiarize students with the complexity of issues which have driven historical architectural debate.

Examinations and Assignments: Assignments include weekly in-class analysis problems and a series of longer (two to three week) design projects. Students will keep a sketchbook as a diary of sketches and development of architectural thought. |
Additional Requirements and/or Comments: Prerequisites: ARST435 Course fee: $125. Students are expected to attend all class sessions. Although there are no formal prerequisites, the course serves primarily as a continuation of Architecture I. This course is not open to first-year students. |
