This is a comprehensive introductory course to the methods and aesthetics of film-based and digital photography. The topics of study will include evaluating negatives and darkroom prints, developing film, Lightroom and Photoshop software, inkjet printing, reading light, visualization, photographic design, and history of photography. |

Film cameras will be provided; limited digital cameras are available on the first come first serve basis. Interviews will be Thursday April 10th from 8:00pm m-10:30pm on zoom. Please submit a POI by Wednesday April 9th at 5pm to receive a link. You do not need to schedule a specific time. The Waiting Room feature will be enabled and I will interview students in the order in which they will log in. This is an informal conversation and you do not need to prepare. If you would like to share your photographic work (optional), please send a PDF ahead of the interview time. |
