Additional Requirements and/or Comments:
Students must use a single lens reflex camera in good working order with fully adjustable apertures, shutter speeds, I.S.O. settings (Auto film speed indexing not acceptable unless it can be over ridden) and built-in light meter. If you do not have a camera one can be provided for you. Selection by interview. Interviews will take place Tuesday, April 8 4:00 - 5:30 and Wednesday, April 9 from 11:30 - 12:30 and 4:00 - 5:30. They will take place in J. Seeley's office above the art library (go thru the green door). IMPORTANT--detailed course information posted outside photo lab hallway in the basement of Zilkha Gallery building MUST be read prior to interview. Lab fee is $200 (includes chemicals, rolls of film, and handout text). Regular weekly lab will be adjusted as much as possible to accommodate student schedules. Many classes may last until 4:00pm. |
