This is a comprehensive introductory course to the methods and aesthetics of film-based and digital photography. The topics of study will include evaluating negatives and prints, developing film, photoshop techniques, printing, reading light, visualization, photographic design, and history of photography. |

Weekly submission of contacted sheets and prints. A final portfolio. |
Additional Requirements and/or Comments:
Students must provide their own digital camera with a minimum resolution of 8 megapixels (a digital single lens reflex camera is strongly recommended. For more info please contact the instructor.) Film cameras will be provided by the department.
Interviews will take place on the second floor of the Digital Design Studio on Wednesday, November 11 10:00 -12:30 and 1:00 - 2:00 |
