Examinations and Assignments: Weekly submission of photographic prints and reviews of three portfolios of six prints each during the semester. No final exam. |
Additional Requirements and/or Comments: Students must supply their own camera equipment and tripod. Lab fee of $120.00 includes chemicals and handouts. Selection for Photo II: Selection for photo II will be by portfolio review. Photo 2 interviews will take place on Tuesday, January 24th from 2-6 in DAC photo classroom/J. Seeley's Office. Enrollment will be during the Drop/Add period. Make-up of Portfolio for Admission: Your portfolio should include a minimum of ten exhibition-quality prints and twelve rolls of negatives with corresponding contact proof sheets. These prints and negatives must have been processed by you. This is a minimum; you are welcome to submit additional material. If you have taken a basic photo course at Wesleyan, negatives and contact sheets are not necessary; you need only submit the ten prints plus any contacts, negatives and prints produced since completion of the course here. Required regular lab work sessions will be scheduled weekly. |
