Classic papers on gene/environment interaction by J.B.S. Haldane, R.C. Lewontin, H.F. Nijhout, and philosopher Russell Gray; current articles from the primary biological and medical literature on topics of students' choice.

Additional Requirements and/or Comments: The prerequisite is any course beyond Intro Biology (BIOL 181/182) in either development, behavior, genetics or evolution (e.g., BIOL 214, BIOL 218, NS&B 213, BIOL 224). However, students who have not taken BIOL 214 OR BIOL 218 OR BIOL 254 OR BIOL 224 should contact Professor Sultan for permission to obtain a pre-req override form. |
