Classic papers on the gene/environment interaction by J.B.S. Haldane, R.C. Lewontin, H.F. Nijhout, and philosopher Russell Gray; current articles from the primary biological and medical literature on topics of students' choice.

Additional Requirements and/or Comments:
The prerequisite is any course in either development, behavior, genetics or evolution (e.g., Bio 241, Biol 221, Bio 349, Bio/NSB 213 or 224, etc). However, students who have not taken BIOL214 OR BIOL218 OR [BIOL254 or NS&B254] should obtain a prerequisite override form from the Registrar's Office prior to registering for the course. |
