Course Cluster and Certificates: Health Studies |
This course provides a first introduction to the application of chemical concepts in the laboratory. This course is normally taken concurrently with CHEM 141, 142, 143, or 144, and it fulfills part of the chemistry lab requirement for pre-medical/health studies. Students who place directly into CHEM 144 with advanced placement credit must take this laboratory course if they intend to take CHEM 257 in a future semester. CHEM 152 is offered in both the fall and spring semesters.
COVID-19 NOTE FOR SPRING 2021: CHEM 152 will be offered as an "in-person only" course for sections 02-04, with a space-limited enrollment capacity. Section 01 will be offered as an asynchronous online course to accommodate students who are unable to participate in person. As a result, the section 01 curriculum will be altered accordingly. |
