Examinations and Assignments: Regular quizzes, oral presentations and essay writings and a final exam. Biweekly essays and quizzes are required. |
Additional Requirements and/or Comments: Students who have not taken CHIN218 or courses of comparable proficiency elsewhere need to take a placement exam before being enrolled. This course also caters to students beyond the fourth-year who will be required to work on supplementary texts selected from THE INDEPENDENT READER (1997) in addition to the normal course work. This course may be repeated by students who have already taken CHIN221 or CHIN222, as readings will be changed. |
