This elementary modern dance class is above the introductory level with an emphasis on anatomically sound and efficient movement. Studio work, readings, and homework assignments focus on experiential anatomy and the development of strength, endurance, joint mobility, and technical skills necessary for working in dance technique, improvisation, and choreography. |

Prerequisites: DANC111 or previous dance experience
Placement on this technical level required by permission of instructor.
Please contact the professor prior to the first class. Interested students must attend the first class to be considered for available spaces in this course. Students with dance experience outside of Wesleyan may be granted permission to take this course.
Undergraduates may take this course up to two times for a letter grade and up to three times for credit towards graduation. |
