Intermediate modern dance. This class will focus on moving with technical precision, projection of energy, dynamic variation, and proper alignment. Emphasis will be placed on learning movement quickly and developing awareness of space, time, and energy. Friday's class will be taught by different visiting artists. |

Additional Requirements and/or Comments: Placement on this level requires the recommendation of dance technique teacher from the previous semester and permission of the instructor, Susan Lourie, Dance Dept. There are 12 Friday classes that are taught by two (six-week) Visiting Artists.
Undergraduates may take this course up to two times for a letter grade and up to four times for credit towards graduation. |
