Examinations and Assignments:
Weekly dance composition, journal assignments, short papers and attendance at dance concerts. Work from the semester will appear in the spring dance concert. |
Additional Requirements and/or Comments:
DANC249 focused on solo work and movement invention. This course focuses on group work. Both courses are prerequisites for DANC371.
Requirement: concurrent enrollment in a dance technique class. Students must participate as members of production crews for two dance concerts during the semester. This is an ampersand course with DANC249.
The course is POI due to it being the gateway course to the Dance Major and students need to consult with Dance Faculty prior to taking this course. |
