This course will focus on the writing of nonfiction and the forms of the English essay. Readings will be drawn from a range of genres, both nonfiction and fiction, including memoirs and profiles, historical and contemporary commentary, short stories and novels. |
Essential Capabilities:
Intercultural Literacy, Writing The readings for this course have a cross-cultural focus, and the participants come from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. The course focuses on developing the ability to write in a variety of non-fiction genres, emphasizing the editing and revision process.
