This course is an applied introduction to the study of the politics of the major issues of international economic relations today: globalization, trade, monetary relations, imperialism, debt, foreign direct investment, resources and energy, development, international migration, and the environment. Emphasis will be placed on learning about the main issues of international economic relations through reading and discussing issues, but principally by applying what has been learned in real-life scenarios. |

Several research projects and memos. Students will be heavily engaged in applied research. There will be significant teamwork as well. |
