This course is a continuation of HEBR201 with more advanced grammar and increased emphasis on speaking as well as reading more complicated texts including literary texts. Audio tapes, computer programs, and the Internet will be used to enhance listening, composition, and comprehension skills. Exposure to appropriate cultural material such as Israeli films and newspapers will also be included. Lab work with digitized film is required, as well as participation in cultural and literary presentations by Israeli scholars. |

Additional Requirements and/or Comments: Attendance at every class and class participation are required as well as video viewing and independent labwork. Participation in literary and cultural events is also required. HEBR201 is a prerequisite. If students have not taken HEBR201 and have the equivalent knowledge they make take HEBR202 with the permission of the instructor. |
