Daily written assignments, frequent quizzes, and mid-term and final examinations. Daily class and language laboratory attendance. Weekly Kanji workshop attendance. |

Regular attendance in class, language lab and Kanji workshop is required. Transfer students and others who believe that they are ready for this course should see the instructor. Attendance and active participation every class and weekly TA sessions are required. |
