This course is an introduction to topology, the study of space in a general sense. We will approach topology through knot theory, the study of embeddings of a circle in a 3-dimensional space. |

Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning
This course will focus on the creation of formally correct inductive and deductive arguments, and will train students to formulate mathematical theories and descriptions of specific and complex objects.
