Additional Requirements and/or Comments: Topic: THEORY AND PERFORMANCE CONTEXTS OF INDONESIAN MUSIC: The seminar examines the theory and performance contexts of Indonesian music as they are precipitated by historical events, such as trade, religious conversion, colonialism, and nationalism. Comparison with other musical discourses will be knocked about, whenever appropriate. |
