Additional Requirements and/or Comments: Topic: Creative Improvised Music Since 1959
As 1959 proved a crucial year in the political and social climate in the United States, so too was 1959 a landmark year for major innovations in the arts and creative improvised music. Through extensive discussion, readings, and classroom listening, this course will consider many sub-genres of creative improvised music dating from that year up to the very present day. |
