Instruction in the performance of orchestral music of Central Java. Various levels of difficulty are represented in the playing techniques of different instruments, mainly tuned gongs and metallophones. Previous formal music instruction is not necessary. Students should not pre-register for this course. Interested students should attend the first class for audition and interview. |
