Fall 2016
| Section:

|
This course in classical mechanics assumes a level of familiarity with general physics and comfort with vectors and calculus that is not assumed in PHYS113. This course will study classical mechanics at a level that is rigorous and mathematically sophisticated, employing contemporary instructional techniques. It will also teach elementary programming and data analysis skills essential to physical science. The course may be ideal for students who have previously taken a general physics course but not at the level required as preparation for PHYS116, Electricity and Magnetism. |
