This laboratory course teaches students how to obtain, process, and evaluate data, and compare these data with quantitative models of how our world works.

Examinations and Assignments:
Regular attendance to all lectures and labs is required. A Pre-Lab assignment is due at the weekly lecture. Lab reports are due every week at the end of each lab meeting. |
Additional Requirements and/or Comments:
While this course is not required by the Physics Department, students planning to enter the health professions should be aware that a year of physics WITH LABORATORY is usually required for admission. Consult your major advisor if you are in doubt about similar requirements in your field. Each laboratory group is limited to sixteen students. |
