Regular attendance to all labs is required. A pre-lab assignment is due at the beginning of each lab session. Lab reports are reviewed by lab instructor at the end of each lab meeting. |
Additional Requirements and/or Comments:
This laboratory course teaches students how to obtain, process, and evaluate data, and compare these data with quantitative models of how our world works.. While this course is not required by the Physics Department, students planning to enter the health professions should be aware that a year of physics WITH LABORATORY is usually required for admission. Consult your major advisor if you are in doubt about similar requirements in your field. Each laboratory group is limited to sixteen students. |
