Crosslisting:
PHYS 513 |
This course will present Newtonian kinematics and dynamics, with emphasis on one- and two-particle systems of continued importance in physics and astrophysics. Lagrangian and Hamiltonian methods, rigid-body dynamics and nonlinear mechanics are among the topics that will be discussed. The cross-listed course, PHYS 513, is similar to PHYS313 with supplementary material and special assignments and open only to graduate students. |
