PHYS 565
Spring 2006
Section: 01

Much of mathematical physics has grown from the need to solve ordinary and partial differential equations. The course will emphasize certain techniques that are employed for this purpose, including complex analysis, and Fourier and Laplace transforms. We will also introduce the notion of Green Function and apply them for the solution of differential equations.
