All required readings will be posted on Moodle by the professor and will be primary source journal articles in developmental science, textbook excerpts, and other selections.
The Siegler, Deloache, & Eisenberg textbook How Children Develop is an excellent resource for background information. It is not required but it is optional and recommended for students who have less background in psychology and/or who prefer learning from textbooks. (The 3rd edition is optimal but a copy of a used 2nd edition is fine.) 3rd edition ISBN 978-1429217903.
