Course Cluster: Christianity Studies |
The new religious movement of the followers of Jesus began writing and transmitting texts that were later canonized as the New Testament. This course will examine this literature in its social and historical setting, paying particular attention to the variety of beliefs and community formations reflected in the texts. Also discussed will be some early non-canonical texts. |
