Additional Requirements and/or Comments: Required of majors but non-majors are welcome. Readings, class discussion, and written work in Spanish only. This course is intended for students who have completed SPAN 221 with a grade of B- or better or have placed into SPAN 223 through the placement test this fall. Students enrolled in SPAN223 meet 3 hours weekly with the professor and 1 hour per week in a (small) discussion group with the course assistant.
