Major Readings:
The readings vary from semester to semester depending on the wishes of the instructor.

Examinations and Assignments: Scenes, monologues, exercises, journal and one major paper/presentation. |
Additional Requirements and/or Comments: To sign up for auditions submit a ranked Drop/Add enrollment request during the adjustment period.
Acting I Auditions: Monday, September 7th, 12-2:30 PM in the East Room. Sign-up sheets will be available on the Theater & Dance Studios call board beginning on Friday, September 4th. Please be prepared to present a fully memorized 2-minute monologue of your choice.
Returning students and transfer students are welcome to audition for the fall semester.
Acting I is open to first-year students in the spring term, when two sections are usually offered.
This course is prerequisite for Acting II and higher-level acting courses, and for Directing I and II. |
