This is a video laboratory course combining theory and practice in nonfiction and ethnographic video making. The course will concentrate on video production with weekly exercises, readings, study of selected films and a short final video project. The aim is to introduce students to computer-based digital video and video making from the development of an idea, through shooting and editing, to postproduction, concluding with a visual ethnographic project. |
