Private Music Lessons for Nonmusic Majors

| This course may be repeated for credit. |
Private instrumental and vocal lessons meet for one hour weekly at regularly scheduled times. Permission of the instructor is required. Students contract to take 12 lessons. Each instructor sets his or her criteria for accepting students. Returning students may register during pre-registration. Students new to the Private Lessons Program must contact the instructor to determine whether an interview during the first week of classes is required. This course may be repeated four times for credit towards graduation regardless of section or combination of sections.
Course Fee: $780 for 12 one-hour lessons billed through the Student Account. Financial support may be available for those who qualify. Please see the Music Department web site under Private Lessons for details.

This course can be repeated 4 times for credit regardless of section or combination of sections.
Registration : NEW STUDENTS--during Drop/Add. RETURNING STUDENTS-during Pre-Registration.
NEW STUDENTS must contact the instructor to schedule lessons, or sign up for an interview in the Music Studios Lobby.
Interviews take place January 23- 24, 2020. Lessons begin the week of January 27, 2020.
LESSON FEES -- Student's account will be billed $780 for 12 one-hour lessons. Students accepted into the program become liable for the additional fee.
Students will be billed for any lesson/s taken during Drop/Add, even if they drop the course. The student will be billed only for the lessons already taken if they drop during the Drop/Add period. Dropping after the Drop/Add period results in paying the full course fee. The student must notify the instructor 24 hours prior to the first lesson following the end of Drop/Add. The student will be billed the full course fee if they fail to drop 24 hours prior to this lesson.
