Examinations and Assignments: One exam, one major research project including a paper and an oral presentation. |
Additional Requirements and/or Comments: This section will examine various experimental research methods. Students will learn the critical steps of the research method, including formulation and testing of hypotheses, study design, data collection and statistical analysis using SPSS software, and interpretation and reporting of results. Concepts of methodology and design will be applied to a broad spectrum of research areas, including experimentation in animals, and basic physiological and clinical research in humans. This section will be taught mainly in a lecture/discussion format. |
