A general introduction to economic analysis and its applications for public policy, the course examines the forces of supply and demand in competitive markets. What are the causes of and remedies for unemployment and inflation? This course serves as a general introduction to micro- and macroeconomics for students who are not considering majoring in economics, and it satisfies the prerequisite for economics courses at the 200 level. |
