| This course may be repeated for credit. |
This course examines choreography and its performance as an embodied experience. Students will research a theme-specific topic and participate in the creation of a contemporary work under the direction, guidance, and mentorship of faculty/choreographer. This course will culminate in an evening performance in the CFA Theater as part of the Fall Faculty Dance Concert. As this is a level 3 course, students should have previous dance movement experience. This course will include a week of tech-rehearsals in the CFA Theater (prior to the weekend performance planned for Friday-Saturday, November 20-21, 2026.
