Chinese Music Ensemble MUSC 428 Fall 2013 Section: 01   This course may be repeated for credit. Crosslisting: EAST 428 Students will learn both traditional and contemporary instrumental pieces of Chinese music, as well as different regional styles. The ensemble will present a concert at the end of each semester. Attendance for the class is mandatory. Additional Requirements and/or Comments: Permission of instructor is needed for the course. A rudimentary sense of pitch and rhythm is required. Interested students should attend the first class for auditions. A list of those students accepted in the course will be posted the following day. Undergraduates may take this course up to two times for a letter grade and up to four times for credit towards graduation.
