The course will present an introduction to human physiology and nutrition. The goal is to gain general knowledge of the chemistry and biology of nutrients such as proteins, carbohydrates, fats, and vitamins and understand how they fuel metabolic processes of life. The connections between disturbances in metabolism and human disease will be an important component of the course. |
