Examinations and Assignments:
Several short stories or a section of a novel will be written and revised over the course of the semester. Weekly reading assignments will also be given. Attendance at every class is required. Students should be prepared to be active participants in the round-table discussion of each other's work. |
Additional Requirements and/or Comments:
Prospective students must submit up to 20 pages of a writing sample to the instructor dshapiro01@wesleyan.edu by August 28. In rare cases, freshmen may be admitted to the class. |
