This course provides an intense review of elementary Spanish to allow students to advance to the intermediate level. Emphasis is placed on the four basic skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Attention is also given to cultural issues concerning the Spanish-speaking world. Conversational fluency is practiced and highly expected on a daily basis. |

Additional Requirements and/or Comments: SPAN 103 is intended for students with prior experience with Spanish who have scored out of SPAN 101 and close to SPAN 111, according to Wesleyan's placement exam. Otherwise, students should consult with instructor before preregistering. Enrollment for Juniors and Seniors is contingent upon space availability during drop/add. |
