Examinations and Assignments: Short weekly assignments for classroom discussion. Evaluation of clinical experience by CVH supervisor and instructor. One group paper on all aspects of a mental illness with subsections written by identified individuals. |
Additional Requirements and/or Comments: Recommended: (CHEM141 AND CHEM142 AND [MB&B181 or BIOL181] AND [BIOL182 or MB&B182]).
Lectures will be offered by CVH staff. The class will be subdivided into four working groups of four students each. A mix of biology and other science majors is desired for each working group. Open to Senior and Junior Biology and other science majors, by permission. The student must complete training course (4 hours) for CVH volunteers and commit one or more blocks of time (3 hours) that will be available for volunteering. These requirements must be met during the preceding semester to allow planning. Contact the instructor (jdonady) to express your interest in this course BEFORE THE END OF PRE-REGISTRATION. |
