Examinations and Assignments: Weekly in-class diagnostic tests will be given in a form of short written quizzes, dictation and spelling, speaking practices and listening exercises; a mid-term and final exams will be given in the assigned dates. In addition, home work assignments are given three times a week. |
Additional Requirements and/or Comments: This course will focus on developing proficiency in Hindi by addressing all skills of language learning: reading, writing, listening and speaking. Throughout class activities, assignments and with the use of authentic materials, students will gain an understanding of new cultural concepts and values that will help them develop intercultural literacy. |
