A survey of Renaissance literature from the beginning of the Tudor Age in 1485 to the Restoration in 1660. Readings cover the period from the dawn of the Tudor Age (1485) to the Restoration of the Stuart dynasty in 1660, offering an introduction to a selection of major writers like Marlowe, Spenser, Shakespeare, Jonson, and Milton. |
