Methods for effectively teaching astronomy at all levels from general public outreach to college level will be discussed. |
Essential Capabilities:
Interpretation, Speaking Students will alternate presenting a critical assessment of astronomy education articles to the class and leading the ensuing discussion.

Examinations and Assignments: Each student will be required to lead a seminar discussion on a topic in astronomical pedagogy |
Additional Requirements and/or Comments: Attendance at all class meetings is required. There may be a service-learning component to the course as well. |
