This is course is for students who have taken Beginning Taiko. Acceptance to this class is at the discretion of the instructor. Students will learn advanced techniques in taiko drumming, singing, and fue, Japanese flute. |

Examinations and Assignments: Students are expected to show a strong grasp on the repertoire- demonstrate considerable efforts in increasing physical strength, flexibility and stamina as assigned by the instructor. Attendance to all classes and one hour weekly TA sessions is mandatory. There will be a performance at the end of the semester. |
Additional Requirements and/or Comments: Prerequisites: [MUSC416 or CEAS416] or [MUSC418 or CEAS418] or prior experience.
Interested students should attend the first class for audition.
Undergraduates may take this course up to two times for a letter grade and up to four times for credit towards graduation.
Students are required to participate in one 2 hour TA session per week and are required to participate in the final concert. The schedule for these is TBD but will be known as of audition time. |
