Additional Requirements and/or Comments: Students will be required to have a basic understanding of Special Relativity (PHYS215). Basic concepts of special relativity will be reviewed during the course. The course includes an introductory tutorial on tensor analysis; a basic understanding of matrices is required. There will be a limited use of partial differential equations. Fluency in calculus is a requirement. |
