This is a feet-to-the-fire course that will introduce students to diverse methodologies for conducting research on riparian systems. The course will give students an opportunity to explore the Connecticut River, its ecology, culture, and history to understand the role it plays in our lives. Students will explore these topics through scientific data, hands-on learning, and movement. Course related research will be conducted in multiple ways to understand environmental topics. This course is part of Feet to the Fire and the Creative Campus Initiative (www.wesleyan.edu/creativecampus). |
