Intermediate-level language course following SPAN103, with emphasis on the development of four basic language skills (reading, listening, writing, and speaking) within a cultural framework.
This course is comparable to SPAN111 and can be followed by SPAN112. Those seeking to follow with SPAN113 require permission of instructor. |

Additional Requirements and/or Comments: Three classroom periods (MWF) with instructor, plus one with a CA in smaller groups (to be scheduled at the beginning of the semester, usually in the evening once a week.) This course is intended for students who have completed SPAN 102 or 103, or have placed into SPAN 110 or 111 through the Wesleyan Online Placement test this fall, or have a recent AP credit of 3. Enrollment for Juniors and Seniors is contingent upon availability of space during drop/add. Students who have taken SPAN111 cannot enroll in SPAN110 SPAN 112 is the appropriate sequence for SPAN 110. (Students seeking to follow with SPAN 113 require permission of instructor.) |
