Within a cultural framework focused on the Spanish-speaking world--especially Latin America--this course leads students through a review and in-depth examination of advanced Spanish grammar issues and vocabulary expansion while providing the experience of working with written texts and other media materials. Students will explore an array of topics that connect to other academic disciplines. |

Additional Requirements and/or Comments:
Span 113 is the same level of SPAN 112. To enroll in this course, students must have placed into SPAN 112 or 113 through the Wesleyan Placement Test in the fall OR have an AP score of 4 OR after taking 110 or 111. All other students must communicate with instructor and obtain permission to register.
Three 50-minute classroom periods (MWF) with instructor plus one conversation hour with TA in smaller groups (scheduled at the beginning of the semester, usually in the evening.) |
