Within a cultural framework focused on the Spanish-speaking world--especially Latin America--this course leads students through a review and in-depth examination of advanced Spanish grammar issues and vocabulary expansion while providing the experience of working with written texts and other media materials. Students will explore an array of topics that connect to other academic disciplines. |

Attendance to class and participation in Spanish required. Frequent written and oral assignments and assessments; written final exam |
Additional Requirements and/or Comments:
To enroll in this course, students must have taken SPAN 110 or 111, OR placed into SPAN 112 or 113 through the Wesleyan Placement Test in the fall, OR have an AP exam score of 4. All other students must communicate with instructor and obtain permission to register. Span 113 is the same level as SPAN 112. This class meets with instructor 3 times a week, plus once a week with TA (to be scheduled). |
